The admission process will be throughout the year as per academic cycle defined by the University.

Eligibility for Admission

Any one aged 18 years and above with eligibility criteria as per the courses.

July Cycle From July to December

Mode of payment

Full semester/year course fee is to be paid at the time of admission.

Examination

Examinations are conducted by IGNOU through ICA at two examination centers i.e. Kathmandu & Dharan under the supervision of the Embassy of India, Kathmandu.

Exam Weightage System

All courses evaluation system are based on two components:

30% - Periodic Assignments
70% - Term- End Examinations

Attendance requirement

Non-practical oriented courses:
Counseling is not mandatory but it is strongly recommended to attend the counseling sessions for better understanding of the subject.
Practical oriented courses:
75% attendance is required for practical sessions.

Transfer Facility

Transfer facility to IGNOU study centers worldwide
Candidates once enrolled in IGNOU can get transferred to any study centers / Partner Institutes (PIs) worldwide provided the course/program is in offer.

Examination Facility

Candidates can appear for TERM END EXAM from any Partner Institution/ Study Center worldwide, they can also appear exams through India Embassy / Indian Consulate in the countries where there is no Partner Institution / study center.
